A Wirral takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Wirral takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Sultan Tandoori Indian Takeaway, a takeaway at 76 Grange Road West, Birkenhead, Wirral was given the score after assessment on August 9, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Wirral's 341 takeaways with ratings, 135 (40%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
