A Wirral takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Papa John Wallasey, a takeaway at 52 Wallasey Road, Liscard, Wirral was given the score after assessment on September 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Wirral's 342 takeaways with ratings, 138 (40%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
