New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of St Helens’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of St Helens’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

KFC, at Kentucky Fried Chicken, 1 Watts Clift Way, St Helens was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 23.

And Geno’s Kebab and Pizzaria, at 23 Duke Street, St Helens was given a score of zero on February 23.

It means that of St Helens's 176 takeaways with ratings, 56 (32%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
