New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sefton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sefton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mei Mei Takeaway, at 65 Seaforth Road, Seaforth, Merseyside was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 14.

And Pizza Zone, at 93 Knowsley Road, Bootle, Merseyside was also given a score of three on June 14.

It means that of Sefton's 272 takeaways with ratings, 189 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
