New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Liverpool’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Liverpool’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Holt Sandwich Bar, at 51 Holt Road, Liverpool was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 6.

And Feng Sing, at 126 Prescot Road, Liverpool was given a score of one on January 6.

It means that of Liverpool's 588 takeaways with ratings, 265 (45%) have ratings of five and just 10 have zero ratings.
