New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Liverpool’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Sayers, at Belle Vale Shopping Centre Childwall Valley Road, Liverpool was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 3.

And Spice-Brasserie, at 1 St Marys Road, Liverpool was given a score of zero on March 3.

It means that of Liverpool's 513 takeaways with ratings, 208 (41%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
