New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Liverpool’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Bookbinder, at 2 Lark Lane, Liverpool was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 21.

And Baron 84 Bar and Grill, at 84 Bold Street, Liverpool was given a score of one on April 21.

It means that of Liverpool's 964 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 600 (62%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
