Liverpool failed to get their final signing of the window across the line.

The Reds had long been linked with Fulham wonderkid Fabio Carvalho and eventually made a £5 million bid earlier this week.

Despite seeing their offer accepted yesterday, they were unable to get the deal completed in time for the 11pm deadline and Carvalho will remain a Fulham player until the summer.
