Merseyside weather update Friday, 17 December: Sunny intervals changing to cloudy

Towards the end of the week, it's a uniform picture across the board - that pleasant weather continues as it remains dry with sunny intervals throughout the region. Temperatures are reaching highs of 11°C.

As we move into the weekend, in contrast to last weeks damp weather, it's a dry and sunny picture across the region. Temperatures reaching highs of 9°C in Liverpool and 11°C in St Helens.

And looking at the five-day forecast now, it is in stark contrast to last week's unpleasant weather. Sunny and dry is what we're forecasting. Temperatures are beginning to drop - starting off in double figures, things are going to cool right down, hitting highs of just 5°C by Monday.
