Merseyside weather update Wednesday, 12 January, plus five-day forecast: Sunny intervals

As we move towards the middle of the week the region looks set for some winter sun with a cloudy start to Wednesday giving way to bright skies. Temperatures reaching highs of 9°C.

Looking at the back end of the working week now, It's a dry picture with plenty of winter sunshine across the region. Temperatures are climbing into double figures, reaching highs of 10°C

And looking at the five-day forecast now, it's a dry and sunny outlook for the rest of the working week.

However, as we go into the weekend, it's getting colder, reaching highs of just 6°C on Saturday. By Sunday, we could see some patchy drizzle though it's warming up again, reaching highs of 9°C.
