Dogs Trust: 16 beautiful dogs and puppies looking for a forever home in the North West

Here are some of the dogs hoping to find a forever home across the North West, including Merseyside and Greater Manchester.

There are lots of dogs in the North West looking for a forever home this February. Merseyside and Manchester Dogs Trust rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their canines in order to give them the best possible lives.

Charities across the country are facing unprecedented numbers of people looking to give up their pets, as a result of he cost of living crisis, and Dogs Trust is no exception.

If you have been thinking of getting a pet and believe in the ‘adopt not shop’ mantra, Dogs Trust could be the perfect place for you to find an adorable new family member.

Below are 16 dogs from both who are searching for their forever home.

Rosie is looking for a home with adults only and would definitely benefit from a private secure garden, so she has a secure space to be off lead and explore. She is friendly with other dogs but can be over the top so she cannot live with other pets. Rosie is very clever and has picked up on her training very well.

Leo is a gentle boy who happily lies in his kennel watching everyone go by. He walks beautifully on his lead but he's often on squirrel watch! He can live with children of secondary school age but will need to be the only pet. It's likely he hasn't lived in a house before so owners will need to be patient with house training.

Tank is a bulldog who loves the easy life and can be cuddled all day. He can live with children over eight years old but must be the only dog in the house. He is house trained and can be left alone for a few hours without worry. He has had skin problems in the past which have since cleared but may flare up again in the future.
