Dogs Trust currently has dozens of adorable dogs and puppies up for adoption in the North West, including at their Merseyside branch. Located in Huyton, the kennels are home to more than 50 gorgeous pups, who are hoping to find new, loving families as soon as possible.

5. Ziggy
Ziggy needs a special, quiet home with an adult family and no other pets. He is house trained and can be left alone for a few hours. He is a large Staffordshire Bull Terrier and not considered to be XL Bully type. Photo: Ziggy

Thor is a Dogue De Bordeaux who needs an adult only home with no other pets. He was previously house trained and can be left alone for a few hours once he’s settled back into home life. Thor has issues with his skin that require daily medication. Photo: Thor
7. Oreo
Oreo is an eight-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who is very under socalised. She hasn't been used to spending time by herself, so her adopters will need to gradually introduce Oreo to a little time alone, so that she learns it's nothing to be too concerned about.
