6. Maya (five-year-old Akita)
Maya is a five-year-old Akita, currently living at Dogs Trust Manchester. She is looking for a home where she can have her own private secure garden, as she will need to be kept on lead and wear a muzzle whilst on walks. She is very friendly with people once she has met them, so can live with children 15+. However, she can be a little worried by visitors so will need a home with no young visiting children, that can also separate her from the front door and visitors until they are introduced. 7. Ava (six-year-old Caucasian Shepherd)
Ava is a six-year-old Caucasian Shepherd, currently living at Dogs Trust Manchester. She has a history of barking at unknown people so she will need a home that is comfortable separating her from visitors and any regular visitors will need to be introduced outside of the home. She can live with children aged 15+ as long as they are comfortable and confident around big dogs. Photo: Dogs Trust Manchester
