A St Helens drinking establishment has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Windle, a pub, bar or nightclub at Windle Hotel, 223 Hard Lane, St Helens was given the score after assessment on February 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of St Helens's 152 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 71 (47%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
