Greg Richards and Joe Greenwood have been recalled to Saints’ 19-man squad ahead of Saturday’s daunting-looking clash against table-toppers Hull FC at the KC Stadium.
Full back Jonny Lomax retains his spot in the squad and is expected to make the starting line line-up, even though he didn’t feature in the final 17 for the Magic Weekend.
Jack Ashworth also gets the nod, but Mark Percival and Dominque Peyroux, who are both suffering from leg injuries, miss the match and there is still no place for Aussie Travis Burns.
Head coach Keiron Cunningham said: “This is another tough test for us but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
“Hull are one of the form teams in the competition at the moment but when we get both our attack and defence right we are also a difficult side to play against.’’
Cunningham will select his 17 from: Lomax, Turner, Swift, Walsh, Walmsley, Roby, Amor, Vea, Wilkin, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Tasi, Richards, Fages, Greenwood, Dawson, Owens, Ashworth, Knowles, Wellington.
Lee Radford will choose his Hull side from the same 19 he selected for last weekend’s trip to Newcastle.
It is: Bowden, Ellis, Fonua, Green, Houghton, Manu, Minichiello, Naughton, Pritchard, Pryce, Shaul, Sneyd, Talanoa, Taylor, Thompson, Tuimavave, Washbrook, Watts, Yeaman.
The two teams will be also be competing for the Steve Prescott Cup - played each season in memory of the late Hull and Saints full back - with the Airlie Birds holding a 17-16 lead from the first leg at Langtree Park in April.
