SAINTS yesterday named Paul Wellens and James Graham as the club’s joint captains.
The pair share responsibiliy for leading the side in 2011.
Long-serving Wellens has long been touted as a future Saints captain and was widely expected to be confirmed as club skipper.
The appointment of prop forward Graham – much in demand by a number of NRL clubs – is more of a surprise.
He impressed during his short spell in charge of England during the Tri-Nations, and put on the armband for the recent Widnes friendly.
