Pilks travel to Cumbria in Challenge Cup

ST Helens amateurs Pilkington Recs will travel to face Cumbrian outfit Millom in the second round of the 2016 Ladbrokes Challenge Cup

The draw, which was made at RAF Coningsby by 1998 Challenge Cup winners Mark Aston and John Kear, involves the 18 surviving amateur teams from the first round.

Clubs from Kingstone Press League 1 enter at the third round stage later this month, with those in the Championship joining in round four and Super League clubs from the fifth round onwards. The final will be at Wembley on August 27.

Second round ties are: Kells v Underbank Rangers, Millom v Pilkington Recs, Shaw Cross v Castleford Lock Lane, Hunslet Club Parkside v West Hull, York Acorn v Distington, Hull Dockers v Featherstone Lions, Wath Brow Hornets v Oulton Raiders, Egremont Rangers v Rochdale Mayfield, Siddal v Northumbria University.

Ties are to be played on the weekend of February 13-14.
