Rival wingers Makinson and Hall both key match-winners

Two top flight wingers, who have played more than 550 Super League and Challenge Cup matches for their English clubs, will come face-to-face at the Totally Wicked Stadium tomorrow night (Thursday) in what should be an intriguing and fascinating battle for supremacy.

In the right corner will be Saints' Tommy Makinson and in the left corner former Leeds idol Ryan Hall, who scored a hat-trick of tries in Hull KR's golden point defeat against the Catalans Dragons last weekend.

Both are serial match-winners and also have the guile, speed and know-how to lower the colours of any opponents on their day as their records indicate.

Saints will be the bookies' favourites to maintain their 100 per cent start to the season and don't need reminding that on their last visit to the Totally Wicked Stadium the Robins were outstanding and unlucky to lose 21-20 in golden point extra-time.

Head coach Kristian Woolf warned: ''We know what to expect from the Robins who like to shift the ball around a little bit but we will be prepared for that and try to nullify their threat while at the same time also being ready to play at our best.''
