St Helens amateurs Pilkington Recs have been drawn at home to Championship side Halifax in the fourth round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

Pilks booked ther place in the draw with a 13-0 victory over London Skolars to set up a mouthwatering tie for the club.

The draw saw the entry of all 12 Kingstone Press Championship sides as they joined seven Kingstone Press League 1 teams and five National Conference League clubs in the pot.

Teams were drawn by two of the most decorated players in Rugby League – Adrian Morley and Paul Wellens.

Wellens, a five-time winner with St Helens, selected the home sides. Morley, who has won the Challenge Cup four times, drew the away teams.

Celebrating 150 years since Swinton’s formation, the draw took place at The White Lion, a venue where the club moved their headquarters to in the 1870s and took on the Lions nickname, which is one of the oldest in British history – Swinton Lions entered the competition at this stage and were picked out to play away at 1998 Challenge Cup winners Sheffield Eagles.

One of five NCL representatives still in the Cup, Siddal earned a fourth round tie away at Rochdale Hornets after a shock 30-4 victory over League 1 side Newcastle Thunder. Featherstone Lions overcame South Wales Scorpions 37-20 at the weekend, they will now have to carry on that form in an all National Conference League clash at home against Lock Lane in the next round.

Promotion hopefuls Leigh Centurions will welcome Workington Town as they look to go further in 2016 after upsetting a few Super League clubs during last year’s impressive Cup run, whilst the University of Gloucestershire All Golds face an away trip to Kingstone Press League 1 newcomers Toulouse Olympique XIII.

The 2016 Ladbrokes Challenge Cup fourth round draw in full is as follows:
