Eastmoor Dragons 6
Brook moved two points closer to promotion from Division Three of the Kingstone Press Cider National Conference League with a nine-try demolition of Eastmoor Dragons which saw Stephen Parkinson grab a 22-point haul.
The home side dominated from the kick-off and their early pressure paid off when Dave Scott sent Jack Parker over for the opening try with Parkinson adding the first of five conversions.
Parkinson scored Brook’s second try, intercepting on halfway and racing away to score under the posts.
After a spell of Eastmoor pressure, Parkinson again broke clear before Danny Fairhurst sent Aaron Hewitt over in the corner.
Within minutes Brook were in again, prop Callum Welsby stepping through a gap to make 30 metres before Danny Fairhurst finished off by the posts.
Scott Lyon stretched the lead to 26-0 following an attacking scrum before Eastmoor managed to get on the scoresheet on the stroke of half-time.
Any hopes of a comeback were dashed within minutes of the re-start, though, when Mark Webster scored under the posts following a powerful charge.
Parkinson then crossed for his second try before Callum Welsby stretched the Brook lead still further.
Fittingly, it was the livewire Parkinson who had the final say - by completing his hat-trick.
