Cables reserves restart against Newton on April 3
The recent publishing of a roadmap for easing the pandemic lockdown brought some good news for grassroots football and clubs lower down the pyramid.
From the end of March Prescot's youth team will be able to resume fixtures and the reserves will be able to see their season out.
Cables' second string competes in the West Cheshire League. After promotion last season Lee Owen’s side took some time to adapt to the higher standard of football but currently sit in a respectable mid-table position.
The team will play seven more league games and could still make an impression at the top of the table.
The fixtures for April have been published but fans are told to be aware they are all expected to be played behind closed doors and subject to change at short notice.
The club will will keep all supporters well informed of any changes.
