Nathan on the right track

I was heartened to read that Nathan Brown is not a man who is happy to settle for second best. After watching his squad work their way to victory against Hull, he was quick to blast his players for the complacent way they went about their work in the first half.

For far too long we have had to put up with performances which just do not match the standards Saints fans are used to. Now, with Nathan in charge, we may have a chance of turning things around. He has finally addressed the problem that every Saints fans worth his or her salt knew needed fixing. Namely, the lack of a genuine scrum half after the departure of Sean Long almost five years ago and the noticeable lack of real presence in our front row. Now we’ve addressed those problems, let’s move forward together. And keep believing.
