Whatever Alice and the White Rabbit find themselves doing in the forthcoming Disney film it won’t include glassblowing.
But that’s just what you can see on Friday May 13 at The World of Glass.
For this special event the team at the town’s museum and visitor centre are inviting children and parents to go Through The Looking Glass.
Staged as part of the national Museums at Night event, the evening not only includes glassblowing sessions with the Lewis Carroll characters but also an invitation to The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
“We’re aiming to provide a really entertaining evening that is designed mainly for children but all ages are welcome,“ said a spokesman for The World of Glass.
The session lasts from 6pm to 8pm and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are £8.99 and available from the Reception desk at The World of Glass.
