A Clock Face man has admitted allowing his dog to be dangerously out of control and injure a woman.

Karl Lancaster, of Carnegie Crescent, allowed the Alsatian and Staffordshire cross dog to be dangerously out of control outside his house.

The dog - called Socks - attacked Alison Foster on May 16.

Lancaster, 44, initially denied the offence but changed his plea to guilty.

He will be sentenced later this month.
