A Rainford woman has been fined after she allowed her Great Dane dog to be dangerously out of control.

Carolyn Sealeaf, 52, allowed the dog to be out of control at the junction of Arnian Road and Ormskirk Road.

Sealeaf, of Randle Avenue, denied the offence, which took place on June 20 last year but was found guilty after a trial.

She was fined £350 and ordered to £136.24 compensation and court costs of £620.
