This summer, will see the first ever St Helens Youth Festival of Opportunities at Langtree Park on Wednesday, July 30, between 11am to 2pm.

The event, organised by St Helens Council’s Children’s and Young People Services, is aimed at 11-18 year olds.

It will see Langtree Park’s Youth Zone transformed into a live exhibition space,
including a portable skate park, activities, demonstrations, freebies and competitions the whole family can enjoy.

Local organisations will showcase opportunities, encourage young people to have a say and urge them to find
out about activities to get involved with through the summer and beyond,
such as free-running, sports, arts, drama, dance, volunteering, the St Helens Youth Forum, St Helens Council Youth Services and much
more besides.

There’ll also be a chance to win a free 16GB iPad mini when visitors are invited to have their say about what it’s like to be a young person in St Helens in 2014.
