THREE men charged with murdering a Haydock teenager whose body was found a flat where a New Year’s Eve party had been held just hours earlier have appeared in court.
Daniel Wiltshire, 25, Wargrave Road, Newton, Rubin Hoather, 22, of Tickle Avenue, Parr and Anthony Wood, 32, of Elephant Lane, Thatto Heath, are accused of Jordan Campbell’s killing.
The 17-year-old’s body was found by firefighters on New Year’s Day at a burning flat in St Helens. A post-mortem revealed Jordan died from a single stab wound.
The trio spoke in court only to confirm their name. A date for their trial, expected to last three weeks, was fixed to begin on June 15.
Jordan’s family launched an appeal to help pay for a permanent memorial to the tragic youngster.
