A St Helens road has been closed after a serious accident

Police have closed Crab Street after the collision involving two vehicles and two pedestrians at tea time.

It was reported shortly before 5.20pm that a black Fiat Punto and a blue Vauxhall Vivaro van had been in collision, before the Punto was in collision with a 43-year-old woman and girl close to the junction with North Road.
