Three men charged with murder of missing car dealer

A TRIAL date has been set for three men charged with the murder of a St Helens car dealer.

Paul Morson, 31, of Spinners Drive, Sutton, was last alive in June last year.

A van he was driving was found abandoned in Holmes Chapel some time later.

John Burns, 33, Raymond Brierley, 59, and Scott Callaghan, 33, have all been charged with his murder.

They appeared at Liverpool Crown Court last week charged with murder.

Burns, of Kipling Avenue, Huyton, Brierley, of Windy Arbor Road, Whiston and Callaghan, of Abbey Road, Anfield, were remanded in custody.

A plea and case management hearing to be held on July 13 ahead of their trial, which is scheduled for October 1.
