A man from St Helens caught driving while high is banned from the roads.

James William Howard (24): Waterdale Crescent, St Helens: Drug driving on Waterdale Crescent, possession of cannabis: £120 fine, £85 costs to the CPS, £150 criminal courts charge, banned from driving for 12 months.

Michael Thomas McMahon (28): Poplar Avenue, Ashton-in-Makerfield: In St Helens, damaged a door to the value of £50 belonging to Shaun Thomas Blake, assaulted Shaun Blake by beating: £100 fine, £50 compensation, £20 victim surchagre, £85 costs to the CPS, £150 criminal courts charge.

Kelly Anne Nixon (45): Adelaide Avenue, Thatto Heath: In charge of a cross-breed Staffordshire terrier that was dangerously out of control in a wooded area off Seddon Street, St Helens; stole £140 cash from Brian Corless: Order for the dog to be destroyed subject to an appeal being lodged, jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, £100 compensation, £150 criminal courts charge.
