St Helens actress Stephanie Davis has landed herself a place in the Celebrity Big Brother final.
The Prescot star escaped evicted for another time on Tuesday night and is now in the final, alongside Scotty T, Darren Day, Danniella Westbrook, John Partridge and Tiffany Pollard.
Stephanie, who used to play Sinead O’Connor in Channel Four soap Hollyoaks, has sparked controversy during her time in the house by embarking on a relationship with fellow housemate Jeremy McConnell, despite having a boyfriend, Sam Reece, on the outside.
But fans have kept her in and her reception has gone from pure boos, to being mixed with cheers.
Even former Big Brother House contestant Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has shown her support for the 22-year-old, telling The Mirror: “The longer she has been in the house the more I feel I have a better understanding of her.
“She’s young and insecure to an extent, as most girls her age are. I rate how she always stands up for herself where Gemma and Danniella are concerned. I think she’s honest, speaks her mind and shows her emotions with no filter.
“That is a very real, very honest attribute to her character. Everyone is judging her because of the whole love triangle thing, and of course I get that. It’s harsh and can seem heartless, but she’s still learning, and she will learn from this.”
Watch the final on Friday at 9pm on Channel 5.
