An aspiring barrister from St Helens has had a welcome kick start to her legal career after she was picked to spend a day at Cambridge University.

Chloe Lee beat off competition from hundreds of other students to win a spot on a law taster day at the prestigious university.

The Tomorrow’s Lawyers programme, which is run by Cronton College, where Chloe attends, is aimed at providing opportunities to students hoping to study law.

Chloe said: “My law tutor at College told me about the special law taster day at Christ College, Cambridge and I was delighted when found out that I had been accepted onto this event.

“It will give me the experience of both a law degree and also life at a prestigious university.

“This will be a fantastic experience and will help me with my application to university in my second year.

“I am planning to apply to the University of Cambridge amongst other Russell Group Universities.”
