Kirsty first impressed judges at the National Elite Miss 2015 competition where she impressed with her fitness levels.

She said: “I got in to training to become a firefighter and that is how I got into bodybuilding. I have taken part in bodybuilding competitions before but this was my first beauty pageant.

“When I heard my name announced on the night I was really shocked.”

She added: “I really love my job as a firefighter. I love fitness training and I think it would be great to use my qualifications as a training instructor to raise funds for charity. I just feel really proud to have won the competition.”
