TOP artists will pave the way for local talent in St Helens.

Following the success of last year’s jaw-dropping 3D pavement work ‘St Helens Splash,’ leading pavement artists Urban Canvas are heading back to St Helens to show how it’s done.

The group will be running town centre workshops on consecutive Saturdays, June 16 (Celestial

Sun) and June 23 (River Dragons and Mythical Creatures) - both between 11am and 3pm.

Celestial Sun takes place in Church Square, while River Dragons is being staged in Church Street. Just turn up to take part.

The workshops will give town centre visitors a chance to engage with art in a unique way, with everyone encouraged to have a go.

Urban Canvas, established in 1997 and based in Liverpool, have been described as ‘masters of visual pavement art’ and have worked all over the UK and abroad.

Themed pavement art workshops are part of the Council’s town centre event programme - designed to support retailers and provide residents and visitors with cultural opportunities.
