BRAVE soldier Andy Reid brought the crowd to silence when he marched on to the field ahead of the first international to be played at Langtree Park.
Cpl Reid suffered injuries while serving with the 3rd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment in Afghanistan.
But is hasn’t stopped him from throwing himself into a series of inspiring charity fund-raisers.
He was asked to bring the match ball on to the pitch for the England Exiles game on Saturday night to raise awareness of the numerous charities he supports.
Cpl Reid lost both legs and an arm in a land mine explosion but has gone on to complete a number of charity runs and parachute jumps.
