POLICE are appealing for information after a man threatened a cashier with a hammer.
The robber went into Booze Buster on Higher Parr Street, St Helens, at around 1.05pm on Monday, February 1, armed with a hammer.
He demanded the cashier hand over cash before leaving empty handed.
Merseyside Police have issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery.
A full investigation was launched and house to house enquiries have been carried out. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Officers believe the man pictured may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
