A 14-year-old boy has been charged with a sex attack on a woman in St Helens.
The lad, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of sexually touching a woman aged over 16.
He is also accused of harassment and indecent exposure.
All the charges are said to have taken place in July.
The youngster denied the offences when he appeared at St Helens Magistrates’ Court.
He was remanded on conditional bail and ordered not to contact a named individual or enter a section of St Helens town centre.
JPs ordered him to re-appear before the court in January next year.
