Renewed appeal for missing teen

MERSEYSIDE Police is continuing to appeal for information to help trace a missing teenager from St Helens.

Rebecca Strang, aged 17, was last seen around 7.30pm on Friday, December 4 leaving her home address on Nicholson Street, St Helens.

She ​has not been seen since and enquiries have been ongoing to locate her.

Rebecca is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build, dark brown hair with extensions and a facial piercing around her mouth. She was last seen wearing jeans, a cream top, possibly tan coloured boots, plum coloured jacket with a fur hood, and carrying a pink handbag.

Superintendent Louise Harrison said: “Rebecca is known to frequent the St Helens, Manchester City Centre and Warrington areas.

“Officers are making extensive efforts to find her and return her home safely and I would urge her, anyone who knows her whereabouts, or who has seen a girl resembling Rebecca, to call 0151 777 6035.”
