Police are warning people to be on their guard after a van containing prescription medication was stolen in St Helens.
A white Mercedes van was stolen from outside a property in Burrows Lane, Eccleston, shortly before 2.30pm on Monday (December 1) - while the driver was making a delivery.
At the time, there was a quantity of prescription medication in syringes on board.
Taking medication that has not been prescribed for you can be dangerous, or even fatal.
Patrols were stepped up in the area and a search is already underway to locate the vehicle.

Anyone who finds the medication is asked to hand it in to any pharmacy or police station.
