A GROUP of cyclists pedalled all the way from Hull to St Helens to raise funds for Rainhill Cricket Club and Willowbrook Hospice.
Forty-three Rainhill residents (pictured) took on the annual 170-mile challenge and, in total, have raised more than £4,000.
Setting off from the Humber Bridge Country Park, they followed the Trans Pennine Trail to Doncaster on Day One before pedalling to Denton the following day in torrential rain.
On the final day they headed back to St Helens via Cheadle and Stretford.
Organiser Ronnie Hayes said: “We would like to give special thanks to everyone who has kindly donated to our fund-raiser. Without these people the ride wouldn’t exist.
“We’d also like to thank everyone who helped in the support vehicles and the people who kindly donated to us when we passed them en route.”
