STEPHANIE Davis endured a gruelling weekend in the Celebrity Big Brother house, accusing several housemates of bullying her.

The 22-year-old was left mortified as housemates made fun of her dirty underwear and - in a separate dispute - rowed with Gemma Collins and Danniella Westbrook, accusing them of bullying her.

As a result, Ofcom has been hit 165 complaints following both the knickers scenes and recent arguments involving Stephanie and the other housemates.

While some of the outraged viewers referred to ‘bullying’ claims towards Stephanie, others expressed anger over the vile scenes involving her underwear.

Gemma and Danniella have since apologised to Stephanie and hope to get on better in the house.

Meanwhile, her mum, Pauline, of Prescot, gave an interview with the Daily Mail to support the 22-year-old, who has received criticism for her flirtation with Jeremy McConnell.

She said: “Stephanie will tell her own side of the story when she leaves the house.

“She has been through a lot and when put into context everything she has gone through makes sense. We are looking forward to seeing her when she leaves the show.

“Stephanie is 22 years old, at that age I know I made mistakes and could have handled things better – I think people need to give her a bit of a break.

“As a family the last few weeks have been tough but the most important thing is Stephanie and her happiness.’

Adding that they would ‘talk to her’ when she comes out, Pauline went on: “We will always support Stephanie with whichever decision she decides to make. She is our little girl and we will always support her whatever happens.”

She added that Stephanie had struggle to overcome the death of her grandad to cancer in recent months.

Pauline said: “As a family we went through a very tough time last year, with Stephanie leaving Hollyoaks and the press attention that came with that and then the loss of my dad after a battle with cancer in October.”

And Steph’s boyfriend, Sam Reece has blasted critics who have suggested Stephanie’s alleged cheating was staged.

Replying to a fan, he posted on Twitter: “I find it very disrespectful the fact you think I would set something like that up.. Come on love!!”

He also dismissed speculation he would be entering the house this week and won’t be at the Friday eviction as he has a nightclub appearance.
