A new Ibis hotel has been inspired by the ‘rich equestrian heritage’ of its Haydock location.
The Ibis Styles Haydock, on Galway Crescent near the Haydock Park Racecourse, opened on November 3 and will has its own distinct design paying tribute to the village’s association with the sport.
Hotel design features include soft leather upholstery, horse murals, silhouettes and brightly coloured jockey silks and an equestrian-themed play paddock for children.
Senior Vice President of Accor Group Hotels Inge van Ooteghem said: “Whether here for the horses or to explore the local area, we hope that our guests will be charmed by the hotel’s quirky design scheme.
“Haydock has stamped its place firmly on the map through its much-revered annual racing events and we are delighted that the new ibis Styles will now have the opportunity to make its mark in the area too,” she added.
The hotel is in the brand’s boutique-budget range, offering rooms from £35 per night.
