A GIFTED young dancer from St Helens has won two major titles.

Fifteen-year-old Natasha Agarwal was recently crowned both the IDTA North West tap champion and the IDTA international ballet champion.

The Elizabeth Hill dance school student wowed judges at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, competing against regional champions from up and down the country.

Although she classes ballet as her favourite dance style, all-rounder Natasha has also qualified in an incredible seven different disciplines for the All England Dance Finals - set to be held in London next month.

Dance tutor Elizabeth Hill said: “Natasha loves her ballet and has been dancing with us since she was three-years-old. Even back then you could see that she had a natural talent for dancing and we’re all really proud of her - she deserves everything she’s achieved.

“Natasha is such a dedicated student and always gives 100 per cent commitment to her dancing. She now trains with us four times a week and always gives it her all.”

Natasha, of Eccleston Park, a pupil at Merchant Taylors’ School in Liverpool, recently performed in the Elizabeth Hill dance school’s eagerly-anticipated Dance Extravaganza.
