A MAN charged with the murder of a St Helens man is set to enter a plea at Liverpool Crown Court on April 18.
Stephen Barry Thomas, 25, of no fixed abode, had been due to enter his plea on Tuesday morning (April 5) - but his case had to be put back.
Darren Bolger, 40, (pictured) was found collapsed, suffering from serious head injuries, in a town centre alleyway on January 27. He died later that day.
Mr Bolger’s big brother, Paul, subsequently said: “Darren was a quiet and loving man and I will always remember him. He was very close to our mum and was devastated when we lost her.
“He had gone through hard times but he always had a smile and joke for everyone. He was very popular and will be missed.”
