Police are hunting a man, who has links with St Helens, in connection with an assault and for breaching a restraining order.
Detectives from Merseyside Police want to speak to Geoffrey Bamber, 48, about the allegation of assault following an incident at a house in Rufford Road in Southport on October 13 last year.
During the incident a 38-year-old woman was assaulted and threatened and her 31-year-old male friend also assaulted.
Officers have made extensive efforts to trace Bamber and are now asking the public to help them.
Bamber is a HGV driver by trade and has links to Sutton Leach in St Helens, Seaforth, Bootle, Litherland, Southport in Sefton and Huyton in Knowsley. He is also known to have travelled recently to the Gwent area of South Wales.
