Police are hunting for armed raiders who targeted a St Annes shop.
However, detectives have refused to reveal any details about the event, at Co-operative Travel in St Annes Road West, St Annes, on Saturday.
Staff at the travel agents were held up in a day-light knife-point robber at around 11.45am as shoppers wandered through the town.
Police were called to the town centre shop, but by the time officers arrived, those responsible had got away.
Nobody was injured, and police have declined to comment on what was taken or how many people were involved.
Detectives are now looking at CCTV footage from the shop and say they are “progressing a number of enquiries”.
