St Helens X Factor star Kiera Weather left the show last night with her head held high ... and with the admiration of her entire hometown.
The 18-year-old barmaid at Clock Face Labour Club was eliminated after Sunday’s public vote.
Earlier, she had performed Mark Morrison’s hit Return of the Mack.
Hundreds of Sintelliners took to social media to congratulate Kiera on her performances throughout her bid for X Factor glory.
Johnny Vegas wrote on Twitter: "Gutted for the lass but Kiera Weathers can head back home to St Helens head held high.
"Congratulations on getting as far as you did Hon x"
Michael Parr, the Emmerdale actor, said: "Young, amazing singer, whole life ahead of you."
Martin Murray added: "Gutted for you mate. It's just the beginning this tho so keep your chin up. Done yourself & the town proud x"
Sunday's show saw a double elimination for the second week running, with singers Seann and Mason also being eliminated.
