A talented keyboard duo will showcase their fast fingers and feet with a concert of organ and piano music this weekend.
Shade Black and Paul Roberts will perform On A Spring Note at St Peter’s Church in Newton-le-Willows on Saturday evening.
The gig is also a home concert for 26-year-old musician Shade is he is diredctor of music at the church and renting the venue for the occasion.
The duo have impressive CVs, with Paul attracting international success in a career which has seen him rack up 35 US tours.
The concert, which will include piano and organ music alongside digital orchestral arrangements in a series of solos and duets, is also being put on to mark the launch of Shade’s new music teaching business.
Shade will teach piano, keyboard, flute and singing to pupils in St Helens, Warrington and Wigan on a one-to-one basis at his home or at the pupils’ houses.
