CHOOSING a brand new home is the biggest financial decision most people make, but for first time buyers the task can be even more daunting.

However it seems that would-be home owners in the North West are turning to Jones Homes in ever increasing numbers for help and advice as they search for their first starter home.

The six month period from May 2011 to October 2011 has seen the number of first time buyers visiting Jones Homes’ developments soar by 46 per cent over the corresponding period of 2010.

And with mews style homes available in Moston, Woodhouse Park, Bolton, Horwich and Newton-le-Willows sites, first time buyers have a great choice of homes.

And now could well be the ideal time for first time buyers because the award winning builder has two on-going initiatives designed to help people make that move to a brand new Jones home.

The Government backed FirstBuy scheme was launched to encourage aspiring first time buyers to come forward and take that first step on the property ladder.

With FirstBuy, Jones Homes and the Government together will offer a 20 per cent equity loan, which, alongside a five per cent deposit from the buyer, will enable those who qualify to take out a 75 per cent mortgage on the rest of the property. For example, the successful buyer of a house worth £123,950 at Newlands Grange, Newton-le-Willows, would pay just £99,160 and have to find a deposit of only £6,197 to secure a new home!

Most show homes and sales centres open from 10am to 5pm during the week and from 11am to 5pm at weekends. For those unable to call in, visit or ring 01625-588300 for more information.
