Two of St Helens biggest names will renew their friendly rivalry for a fundraising darts match in aid of the Steve Prescott Foundation.
TV funnyman and actor Johnny Vegas will take on Saints legend Paul Sculthorpe at the oche on Sunday (December 6) at St Helens town hall.
The pair are firm friends away from the arena but organisers are bracing themselves for fireworks when these two highly-charged competitors meet.
Their previous clashes - a ping pong match and an epic crown green bowling contest - were all memorable encounters and Sunday’s tungsten challenge is expected to be no different.
Others taking part include darts aces Stephen Bunting, Alan Warriner, Pete Manley and Lisa Ashton.
Scully’s former teammate and Saints legend, Paul Wellens, himself no slouch at the oche, will also take part along with ex-Warrington ace Lee Briers.
Tickets priced £12 are available from A180 Darts at 1a Folds Lane in Haresfinch.
The event, which is sponsored by Bartons Pickles, will take place at St Helens Town Hall this Sunday (December 6). Doors are open at 12.30pm and tickets can also be bought from steveprescottfoundation.co.uk/shop.
